Meet Our Staff:

Director:

Ms. Regina has been with LDS since February 2015.  She comes from an extensive background of working with children of all ages.  With a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling Ms. Regina decided to follow in her families footsteps in providing quality child care within the surrounding area.  Lawrence Day School is the newest addition to the list of child care centers that she has joined.  Ms. Regina hopes to build strong and lasting relationships in the years to come!

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR:

Ms. Sam has been with LDS since June 2015. She has been working in the child care field for over 5 years and worked her way up from Toddler Teacher to Assistant Director. She decided to make early learning her life's work because she believes a child's education is the most valuable thing in the world. Knowledge is power and she recognizes that the earlier it begins the better for the child. Ms. Sam believes all kids deserve to have a safe educational environment to learn and grow in. We strive every day to provide a lasting education in each child that comes through our center.

HEAD INFANT TEACHER:

Ms. Pat has been with the Lawrence Day School family for over 35 years! She has received several years of training in child care development. Ms. Pat has gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in the field of child care. She has been the Head Teacher of the Infant Room for over 30 years. Throughout the years parents have developed a level of trust and comfort with leaving their children in her care because she promotes a nurturing, safe and happy environment. It is her endeavor to ensure that the children are developmentally ready for the next phase of their life.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN TEACHER:

Ms. Katie is the newest addition to our LDS family.  We are very excited to have her join our team.

Ms. Katie is a recent graduate from Cabrini University.  She has attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, with emphasis on Early Childhood and Special Education. Since her freshman year, Ms. Katie has been a member of the Cabrini University of Exceptional Children Club and was elected Vice President for 2016.  As a member, she volunteered at the Pennsylvania Special Olympics, which is the largest student-run Special Olympics event in the world; the Buddy Walk, established by the National Downs Syndrome Society to raise funds, promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Downs Syndrome. She promotes that working with special needs students is an extremely rewarding experience.

Ms. Katie completed her college internship at the Media-Providence Friends School in Media, Pennsylvania, where she received the experience of working as lead teacher with children ages 3 to 5 years old.  Her experience extends to having worked as a teacher assistant at the Rainbow Academy in Flemington, New Jersey interacting with children 15 months to 5 years old, as well as the Little Devils Preschool at Hunterdon Central Regional High School as part of the Early Childhood Education class curriculum.

Ms. Katie is passionate about working with children and helping them to learn, discover, and grow.  She trusts that children are capable of constructing their own learning with individual interests, through interaction with others, and asking questions to help with understanding.  Ms. Katie strives to create a foundation based on relationships with children and their families.  She strongly believes that an educator is meant to observe, guide, and encourage exploration, communication and collaboration with the ability to create a safe, fun, and stimulating environment.
